why isn't it more in focus?

I know that everyone is gawking and gasping at the pictures that have surfaced of Prince Harry showing his beautiful red headed body in Vegas this weekend. Trust me - I'm gawking and gasping too, but I feel really sorry for him. The kid has come a long way in his twenties (remember the Hitler pictures?) and he did an amazing job traveling the globe touting his grammy's jubilee. Such a good job that most everyone was pleasantly surprised how grown up and mature he appeared to be. With all the focus on Will and Kate this was really his time to shine.

But then...strip billiards? Really? That's how you ruin your image? I just wish the photo wasn't so grainy. He's pretty tan for a red head.

the clouds never expect it when it rains

I apologize for the MIA status for the last 2 weeks. To say things have been bananas would be to put it mildly. First, sadly, I have to report that after 14 amazing years of unconditional love and support my sweet little pooch, Rudy, no longer belongs to this world. It has been incredibly sad - more than I realized it would be - and while at home this weekend the loss was intensified. Her monogrammed dog bed(s) (doesn't every dog need a bed in all corners of the house??) still lay around the house, like my parents hope time will rewind and she will come back. I dropped a cracker on the floor and came so close to calling "rudy" to spare me the energy to bend over and it up. While sad, she went out with a bang as her last meal was a wendy's cheeseburger, french fries and a frosty. However, it was a vanilla frosty because my father couldn't bring himself to buy her a chocolate one...you know cause she could die from too much chocolate. My brother is pushing hard from Australia for my parents to get a pig...and name it Kevin Bacon.

What else did I miss the last two weeks....

*Prince Harry was in DC to receive some award last Monday. It was the same night as the Met Gala. Do you know how hard it was to try and decide between Harry and Anna Wintour? I did what I thought was best...and picked neither and watched Hart of Dixie on my couch.

*I had this brilliant idea that I should just happen to be hanging out at the Ritz in the bar the same time Harry was getting his award. Obviously, my trip to the hotel didn't pan out because I was too busy looking for a helicopter (long story), but when I saw the pictures of the girls standing outside waiting for his arrivals, all I could think of was "Buzz, your girlfriend. WOOOOOF." You all know how I like to play it cool around celebrities (Brangelina, Matthew Perry), but I would have lost my shit for that little redheaded hoodlum and probably ended up on the 6pm news. Thank god he didn't make a trip to the "dump" is all I have to say.

*I really wanted to do a post on the Met Gala, but after looking through 140 pictures of ugly and bizarre, I couldn't bring myself to do it. Sorry I'm not sorry.

*Gay marriage...um, yeah...so that happened. Mazel tov!

*I haven't seen my gym crush/I Spy in 2 weeks. That saying, absence makes the heart grow fonder? Yeah. No.

*Speaking of the gym, a new personal training company is hard core lobbying the building for new clients. They've been in our lobby for a week offering their services, which is very nice and I should definitely sign up, but just can't. Not in the office gym. Not being screamed at in front of ISpy. Well New Girl (or her new name, That One) decided it would be awesome if we signed up for a boot camp. It was all fun and games until I ran into the boot camp instructor. Have you ever seen the movie Major Payne? Well standing before me was Major Benson Winifred Payne complete with camo pants and the tightest camo under armor shirt I have ever seen. He, too, is 6'4, black, bald and looks like he could literally murder me with his pinkie. "Killing is my business and business is good." Ya'll pray for us. We're going to need it.

*Rafael Nadal. Sigh. He's now the world's #3 player. Federer breezed past him to reclaim the #2 spot this weekend after he won the Madrid Open. I don't really have anything to say here, but thought you would want to know.

*Continuing on tennis, I miss Carlos Costa. That is all.

*A word to the wise: If you ever end up at the Rock n' Roll Hotel, which incidentally is not a hotel, do not, and I repeat DO NOT, get the "redrum" drink. There is a reason there is a 2 drink limit and it is called murder backwards because it will murder you. I'm pretty sure they put roofies in it. Or everclear. Same diff.

*And finally, can we talk about what a disaster 95 South is? Why, on Friday, was I the only non-yankee on the road? And why are yankees so aggressive? I'll leave for you to ponder that today.

XO,
Bunny

PS - and just to blow your mind on this rainy Monday morning, I give you this. Good luck trying to rid it from your head. I will spend the morning meetings thinking of dirty things to do with all these boys.

baby, baby, baby

I know I'm all about babies today, but GREATDAYINTHEMORNING I want to have a whole school of red headed babies with him. Look at the way he shakes his hips - MMMM. Actually, I can't watch it anymore without a cold shower nearby.

I think I would love him even if he wasn't a royal.

you can tell he is dirty

With every new story about Prince Harry, I become even more outrageously jealous. Why, in god's name, is he out in California and not in DC. I mean, we have helicopters too! I think it’s a government conspiracy. Somebody somewhere was worried about us meeting and falling in love and our red hair engulfing in flames and making little red headed babies and....we'll I've gone off track.

Harry landed in America and took off for San Diego.  He went to a bar where he was "a delight to serve and a big tipper". Uh...I am too, but I highly doubt that Brad the bartender would be so complimentary. The latest in royal theatrics, our boy wonder apparently saved a drowning damsel in distress. Actually, he put a towel around her, but to People mag, he is an honest to goodness hero. This alleged "Lindsey" sounds like a tramp to me. Who tells news outlets about this?  If Harry even came within an inch of me I would probably pass out. But seriously. I would gab to my girlfriends but hell if I would call up the Washington Post and tell them how he looked my way. (note: I had written something dirty here, but because we are speaking about royals and I am a lady, I deleted it).

And just so we get the full visual of Harry at a pool:
You're welcome America.

XOXO,

I see a red door and I want to paint it black

My Poodle and I exchange daily rapid fire emails on everything under the sun.  A review of Bill Cunningham New York - check.  How to live like a mexican drug cartel - check (minus driving a mazda 626. I mean, no way in hell would I be caught driving a mazda. Killing people, fine, but I draw the line at cheap cars). Red heads being turned away from making deposits at sperm banks - check but WTF.

If you don't know, I am a red head. Not a "ginger", but a red head. Like, full on red with freckles. More auburn than orange. The hair is a gift and a curse.  Just ask my brother and my sister, who both have red hair.  God has been kinder to my brother - the great hambino as I call him - by turning his hair browner as he grows older. But baby sister, Filthy McNasty, and I are looked at wherever we go.  And if we are together, people gawk.  I can't tell if they think we are freaks of nature or if they are jealous of our luxurious locks.

People have stopped me on the street to ask if its natural. One time a lady in the grocery store asked me what number I used.  I told her I didn't understand before she explained that her whole life she wanted hair my color and had searched every hair salon and hair coloring box in search of it.  When I frowned and told her I wish I was blond, she looked at me with daggers and said "people would die for your hair".  I laughed but I think she was serious.  I watched my back in the parking lot because she looked like a scalper. But people are also mean about my hair...calling me 'ginger' or 'red', which I hated growing up.  I don't remember being teased about my hair in my younger years, but in high school the boys were relentlessly mean my freshman year. They seemed to let the taunts die mid-year when they realized I didn't care.

Red heads have certain traits that a lot of people don't know about. Yes, it's been said we have tempers (I have no idea where that comes from), but did you know that red heads feel pain more acutely? Not only physically, but emotionally as well. And because of this, we need more anesthesia. In fact, we are less likely to visit the dentist or to have dental procedures done.  My dentist and I will confirm this is true. I don't even want to talk about the horrible surprise root canal of 2005 fiasco.

One of the links on the HuffPo piece links to this blog post - a girl also living with red hair. She writes...
"History has not been kind to the ginger people. At various points we have been hunted as witches, sacrificed to the gods and thought to be vampires. When it comes to art and literature, the biblically-themed, at least, red hair is often the mark of sin. The roster of corrupted redheads includes Eve, after she was been seduced by Satan, Cain, after he offed his brother, and everyone's favorite disciple, Judas. Redheaded Mary Magdalenes are also common, emphasizing what a harlot Jesus had the compassion to befriend. (legend also has it that we're sexually insatiable and morally depraved.)." I definitely can confirm the parenthesis sentence. Especially the morally depraved bit. Baby boy can also confirm.

So with sperm banks not accepting red donations, does that mean that in years down the road, red heads will be even less prevalent? Truly making us freaks of nature? Genetic mistakes?

Temper aside, who wouldn't want a red headed baby?
XOXO,
Bunny

I'm here, I'm here!  No need to fret little pets. There was a lot to do today, including watch some poor guy be arrested outside of our building. You know how much I love to be in other people's business, so I instantly ran to the balcony and watched with binoculars in hand. Alledgedly, he was carrying a gun, but I didn't see any evidence of that.  Ahh...DC in the summertime.  Smells of urine and the tourist walk 5 across and can't drive worth a shit.

For once, the Senate is actually doing something good with their time.  I'm talking about S. 978, a bill that would criminalize lip syncing. As Fox News states (ugh, I know, right Fox Article), "The bill would criminalize individuals -- slapping them with up to five years in prison -- for “publicly performing” copyrighted material without the permission of its owners."  The picture they show with the story is that of Keenan Cahill, a 16 year old, creep-tastic kid who has dominated youtube with his lip-synching parodies.  Personally, my favorite is the David Guetta mashup...mostly for David (he is just so damn adorable).

But the kid does scare the beejesus out of me.  Now Bunny, you say, the poor child has a disease.  Yes, I know...but honey badger don't give a shit. The way his face is all up in the screen is just visually over loading. But I have to hand it to the child...he is doing the damn thing. Check out his website and the celebrities he's had come to his room. However, it makes me laugh that he has a manager...because he makes videos in his room.  Does that mean that I need a manager for the uhhh "videos" I make in my room?  Ha...kidding.

Let's briefly check with Wills and Kate:
GODDDD DAMNNNNN. The hotness of these two seriously makes me green with envy. Kate looks killer in Jenny Packham, but I'm going out on a limb here and say please kate, please for the love of god, eat something.  Even if its just a cube of cheese. If she turned sideways, she'd disappear all together.

That's it for me ladies and gentlemen on this fine Friday afternoon.  Have a lovely weekend!

Bunny

Folie a deux: A maness shared between two

Part deux of this craziness. Personally, I can't wait until its over and we can get back to important issues like gas prices, war, and when Uncle Karl will be making me in chocolate. I wait with baited breath.

Stealing from one of my favorite blogs, Tom and Lorenzo, they did a whole thing on hats. Zara Phillips, daughter of Princess Anne, is my most favorite royal - its true. She, like Harry, is a badass and was bff with Wills back in the day. She's had royal hiccups too - including boyfriend issues and is now engaged to a rugby player but looks like he is a boxer. His nose is seriously on the wrong side of his face. Because she is Princess Anne's daughter, she holds no royal title but is like #16 in line for the throne. Ahhh...reminds me of that movie with John Goodman, King Ralph. So good.

I just liked this photo of Vicky Becks. She seriously could kill you with her bare breasts and she has no apology for it. Sorry I'm not sorry.

Another picture of TP-T.

Even the coat is amazing, but honey, lighten up on the eyeliner/mascara. Its like 11am and you look like a racoon.

XOXO,

Bunny

The. Royal. Wedding. Gasp.

THE WEDDING. THE DRESS. THE GUESTS. THE HATS.
Wow y'all. Bitches bow down to Ms. Kate for the win on that dress. Simple, beautiful, elegant. She looked like she hasn't eaten in months. She looked amazing. And its the start of my new diet - the Katemiddletonisaprincessandyournot diet. Now, lets talk trash on Wills.
The poor guy is what, 28? And he's the future king of england. Can't they do someting with his hair? Some plugs? Spray paint? Shave it down? I'm not a balding man, but it escapes me why they can't do something. I'm not saying he isnt remotely hot and I might have had a Prince William poster that might have hung above my bed in high school (slightly creepy), but lord he has NOT aged very well.

Now, for the guests. Lord have mercy, the guests. I wonder how it feels to have 1900 people at your wedding but only 600 are lucky enough to make it to the reception. Youzas - that is some major cutting of a list. And then only 300 for the "after party"....which is bigger than most people's wedding.

Start us off Cams.

Ehhh...its a touch blah. But I like the see-thru hat. Very courteous of you. Maybe the world will forget you are a tramp.

David and Vicki Beckham...because, you know, they are such close, personal friends. I'll probably be burned alive for this comment, but I think he looks awful here. I know, I know but whatevs. As for his wife,
THIS is how you do it. Bitch is like 6 months preggers, standing on 6 inch Louboutins. She's been complaning that she will look like a beached whale, but homegirl is bringing it. And totes adore that hat. I wish Americans would bring back hats. Its so dignified.
Speaking of dignified:

Mama Middleton, ladies and gentlemen! She looks so appropriate and regal. Unlike the Queen in that awful yellow suit. She looked like a lemon chiffon pie.
Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice -

Its Ab Fab - the 2011 edition starring Edwina and Patsy.

I say this with complete love and affection - this look is the shit. Both Isabella Blow and Alexander McQueen would have loved this wedding. This hat is so Blow. Ps - loving that sentence. "So blow". Poodle - that's our new "its hot".

And kiddies, I leave you with this: SHUT.IT.THE.FUCK.DOWN.

Tara Palmer-Tomkinson, known as TP-T, complete with her new nose...due to a raging coke habit. DEAD.

And I'm spent.

XOXO,

Bunny
